Students in Systems Oriented Design at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) publish their Gigamaps on “Visions for future bio-regional agricultural systems with autonomous technology” in the form of a printed journal. The underlying local data collection, creativity and visualization of complexity these students have shown is an inspiration for regions to re-think their future agricultural regional economy systems, using a systemic design approach.
The course was taught by colleagues of AHO Oslo and myself, with a small contribution of writing on concepts such as circular design, resilience and bio-regional economies.
